B2B Services & Local Operations in Kazakhstan
Trekking Club works with international tour operators, group organisers, schools, companies and organisations planning outdoor programmes and projects in Kazakhstan.
We design and operate complete programmes or provide selected services as part of our partners’ own operations — from trekking and mountaineering to camps, events, field projects and remote logistics.
WHO WE WORK WITH
We work with organisations and professional group organisers from Kazakhstan and around the world. Some partnerships continue for many years and multiple seasons; others are built around a single group, event or field project.
Tour Operators & Travel Agencies
We work with international tour operators and travel agencies developing and operating programmes in Kazakhstan — from individual departures to regular seasonal series. Programmes can be built from scratch or adapted from our existing tours and combined into longer itineraries.
Independent Tour Leaders & Group Organisers
We also work directly with independent tour leaders, travel organisers and other professionals who bring their own groups to Kazakhstan. We help develop the programme and provide the local operation and services required on the ground.
Schools & Educational Organisations
Trekking Club has more than 20 years of experience in outdoor programmes for children, teenagers and students. We work with schools and educational organisations on residential outdoor camps, field trips and tailor-made programmes combining camping, hiking, climbing, outdoor skills, team activities and other adventure experiences.
Corporate, Events & Organised Groups
We organise corporate outdoor programmes, team-building events, camps and activities for companies, associations and organised groups. We also work as an operational partner for festivals, races, rallies and other outdoor events, providing services such as mobile camps, accommodation, catering and field infrastructure.
Research, Field & Production Projects
Our outdoor infrastructure and field experience can also support projects that are not tourism programmes at all. We work with research teams, institutions, production crews and project organisers who need reliable local support, mobile camps, catering, logistics, guides or other services in remote locations.
WHAT WE DO
Our work ranges from tour and expedition operations to outdoor events, school programmes, mobile camps and field projects. Our own infrastructure, transport, equipment and experienced team allow us to operate directly and reduce reliance on third-party suppliers.
Programme Design & Tour OperationsWe design and operate programmes around the season, group profile, duration and requirements of each partner. Existing Trekking Club tours can be used as building blocks, combined or adapted into tailor-made itineraries, individual departures or seasonal series. |
Trekking, Mountaineering & ExpeditionsFrom hiking and multi-day trekking to technical climbs and high-altitude expeditions, we provide guides, equipment, logistics and operational support for mountain programmes of different levels and complexity. |
Our Own Infrastructure & TransportWe operate our own mountain facilities, including the Turgen Gorge Trekking Camp and our alpine cabin in Touyuk-Su, as well as a fleet of 4×4 vehicles and minibuses for different terrain, routes and group sizes. |
Mobile Camps & Field InfrastructureWe establish and operate mobile camps and field infrastructure for events, expeditions, festivals, races and rallies, school programmes, research and field projects, and production crews. The setup is adapted to the location, season and requirements of each project, and can remain in one place or move according to the project itinerary. |
Guides, Instructors & Outdoor ProfessionalsOur team includes experienced guides, mountaineers, climbing instructors and outdoor professionals. We can provide staff for complete Trekking Club operations or as part of a programme organised by our partner. |
Outdoor Events & ActivitiesWe design and operate corporate events, team-building programmes, competitions and other outdoor activities. We also support independently organised festivals, races, rallies and events with catering, accommodation, mobile infrastructure and other field services. |
School & Youth Outdoor ProgrammesWith more than 20 years of experience in outdoor programmes for children and young people, we organise residential camps, field trips and adventure programmes for schools and educational organisations, combining accommodation and catering with hiking, climbing, navigation, camping skills, games and other outdoor activities. |
Research, Field & Production SupportWe support scientific teams, research projects, film and production crews and other organisations working in the field. Depending on the project, this may include camps, catering, transport and logistics, local guides and experts, and ongoing operational support in remote areas. |
Safety & Operational ControlSafety is built into the way we operate. Our procedures include office-based tour monitoring, regular guide check-ins, satellite tracking where mobile coverage is unavailable, radio communication where required, first-aid provision, and systematic checks of vehicles and technical equipment. Our guides and instructors also undergo regular training and refresher courses to maintain and develop their professional and safety skills. |

HOW WE WORK
1. Tell us what you need
Partners can come to us with a complete itinerary, an initial idea or simply a general brief. We discuss the time of year, duration, group size and profile, activity level, interests and preferred destinations or landscapes, as well as any cultural or city elements they would like to include.
2. We develop or review the itinerary
We can design an itinerary from the ground up, adapt one of our existing tours or review a route already prepared by the partner. Seasonality is an important part of planning in Kazakhstan: different regions and activities are suitable at different times of year, particularly in the mountains and desert areas.
We also take into account the large distances between destinations, realistic driving times, road conditions, terrain and the logistics required to connect different parts of the trip. Where necessary, we suggest changes to make the itinerary realistic, safe and enjoyable for the group.
3. We agree the operation
Together we define the final itinerary, dates, services and responsibilities. Trekking Club can manage the complete operation or provide selected services within a partner-managed project. Payment terms are agreed individually with each partner.
4. We reserve the dates and prepare
Once the itinerary and dates are confirmed, we reserve the agreed slot in our operational schedule and send confirmation to the partner. We also agree when the next stage of communication should begin, so that participant details, logistics and final arrangements can be handled in good time before the first departure.
5. We operate — and improve
Our team handles the operation in Kazakhstan according to the agreed plan. For recurring departures and long-term partnerships, we review the season together, discuss what worked well and what could be adjusted, and use that experience when planning the next season.
WHY TREKKING CLUB
Local Knowledge of Kazakhstan
Our team knows Kazakhstan on the ground — its regions, seasons, climate, roads, distances and local conditions. This practical knowledge helps us plan realistic itineraries and recommend the right places and activities for each time of year.
Operating Since 2005
Trekking Club has been operating in Kazakhstan since 2005. The company was founded by professional mountaineers, and this mountain background has shaped the way we work from the beginning. Over the years, we have expanded from mountain and adventure travel to a wide range of outdoor programmes and projects while retaining the practical, field-based approach on which the company was built.
Licensed Local Operator
Trekking Club is a licensed tour operator based in Almaty. Planning, coordination and operations are handled locally by our own team, rather than through a chain of intermediaries.
Long-term International Experience
We have worked with international tour operators and organisations for many years, including recurring departures and long-term partnerships. We understand how overseas partners work and how requirements can differ between markets, group profiles and types of travel.
RESPONSIBLE & SUSTAINABLE OPERATIONS
Responsible tourism for us is part of day-to-day operations rather than a separate activity. We work to minimise our impact on natural areas through careful use of temporary and low-impact infrastructure, responsible waste management and thoughtful planning of groups and activities. We also work with local people and suppliers wherever practical, supporting local employment and communities in the areas where we operate.
Our own Turgen Gorge Trekking Camp is one example of this approach. In 2019, the camp was selected as a finalist in the Sustainable Destinations Top 100, recognising its responsible tourism practices and approach to operating in a natural environment.

RECOGNITION & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Professional development is an ongoing part of our work. Our team regularly takes part in external training and certification, including first-aid, guiding and tourism-related courses. In spring 2026, Trekking Club guides completed first-aid training with the Red Crescent of Kazakhstan, receiving or renewing their certificates.
We also run regular in-house training throughout the year, particularly before and during the operating season. Our guides and instructors train together in the mountains and on rock, practise technical skills and equipment use, review new gear, and discuss new methods and developments relevant to our work.
Our wider professional development includes training such as the UN Women Gender Equality in Tourism programme, as well as participation in tourism exhibitions, workshops and other industry events in Kazakhstan and internationally.
